Despite the existence of more than 150 political parties registered with Election Commission, towering and highly famed political leaders, stupendous vote bank and alluring manifestos supposed to revolutionize the lives of the masses and effect volte face, Pakistan, land of the pure, seems to have been plagued with crumbling economy, vindictive politics and decadent social and moral values.

Military dictatorial regimes and autocratic mindset of the political leaders have cankered the roots of democracy and resurrected exploitative reign, a kind of indigenous imperialism and oppressive governance. Resultantly, opportunism, inefficiency, timidity, short-sightedness, irresponsibility, lethargy, insensitivity and injustice have become rampant in society and defiled the youth of our country. Ideological, social, political, educational and investigative spirit is fast diminishing.

The sage of Muslim Ummah Allama Muhammad Iqbal said in his Allahbad Address:

“I feel that in the north western part of India the establishment of an independent Muslim State is preordained by Allah and if it materialized, we would come by a chance to tear off the mask of Arab aristocracy on true Islamic teachings to reveal magnificence face of Islam to humankind.”

After long, arduous journey of trials and tribulation, great exodus and martyrdoms, Pakistan came into existence as an emblem of Divine Providence on 14 August, 1947. The first night of Independence happened to be “Laila-tu-alQadr” the Night of Revelation of the Holy Quran and the first day was Last Friday of Ramadhan. The Muslims of India, having sacrificed thousands of their loved ones, founded the Islamic state on the edifice of “Two-Nation Theory” in line with the State of Madina.

Ironically, after 77 years of Independence Pakistan, motherland of 240 million people, seems rife with terrorism, economic depression, illiteracy, moral bankruptcy and atheism. Politics has become “a word of abuse” and a “no-go area” for the commoners who, for want of connectivity and financial prowess, feel themselves ousted from this affair of the elite class patronized by feudal lords and business tycoons. The masses, having been disillusioned with political and electoral process, are looking forward to arrival of some messiah from heavens to relieve them of grind of socio-economic hegemony of the ruling class. In the wake of this grim state of affairs Pakistan Falah Party (PFP) has been established to bring a common Pakistani around to perform constructive political role and lead the masses for transformation of our beloved country into real welfare state as envisioned by its founding fathers.

The party is determined to change political culture, mindset of political worker as well as common people and nourish real democratic values. We are on the way to exhibit practically the significance of dialogue, collective sensibility, accountability, equality and justice. We have a vision to integrate individuals, society and state into one entity and make Pakistan a true welfare state on the pattern of “State of Madina” so that humanity may relish abiding peace, security and dignity. This mission of welfare of humanity, prosperity and stability of Pakistan was externalized in the form Pakistan Falah Party during sacred 27th night of Ramadan, the Islamic date of independence of Pakistan.

The struggle for realization of this noble mission commenced with the members’ convention held on 11 December, 2011 in Quaid-e-Azam Convention Centre, Islamabad. The members elected their leadership on the very first day of their struggle and thus gave birth to real democratic tradition in the political history of Pakistan. The members of PFP owe greatly to the sacrifices of martyrs and unsung heroes of Pakistan who lived and died in anonymity to impart glory to this country.
